Mirk is our latest addition to our breeding programme. He has the same father as Zac 285644.
He has had several litters to date but they are just young. So far his pups come out with great natures, they are calm and respond well to people as well as showing an interest in sheep at an early age.
He has many good qualities, great outruns, plenty of power, a nice walk on and uses his brains but doesn't get too hard to handle.
Mirk is quickly becoming one of the main dogs for our farm work, he is thoughtfull and fast and gets the job done. He knows how to handle a large flock of sheep and is brilliant at moving stubborn Tups!
Derek has been running him in the 2011 Westmoorland Nurseries and he has been placed at most of the trials so far.
Mirk has his eyes tested and his hips scored, we are currently waiting for his DNA results.
