Derek Scrimgeour's Border collie camp

16th century Jacobean farmhouse set in 12 acres, comprising of 3 separate training paddocks is now available weekly or daily on a self catering basis.

Derek's son Innes is onsite as caretaker to make sure your stay is worry free.

Rooms can be let individually or on a group basis.

•  access to  training sheep on site 7 days a week.
• use of  Stonehouse with  bedroom, kitchen, spacious dining and sitting room, bathroom with shower and a large utility room 24 hours a day.
• access to the lovely garden  to sit and discuss your day with like minded people
• also access  during weekdays to Derek's  hill farm in the Lake district, where there are large training fields. His farm is only a picturesque 1 hours drive away. There is a small barn where you can make tea, coffee and shelter from the elements.

The above will all be included      in the price while you stay at Stonehouse.

There will be an opportunity to take part in gathering sheep off the 1,500 acre mountain at Lonscale.

 £50 a day or £250 per week for two people sharing a room .

£30 a day or £200 a week for one person using a room.

Group booking (up to 6 people) £100 a day or £600 a week.

These prices include the use of training sheep at Stonehouse and training sheep at Lonscale farm.(1 hours drive away)
