Killiebrae kennels are  registered breeding kennels which are inspected and licensed annually by Allerdale borough council.

Welcome to Killiebrae Sheepdogs - Derek Scrimgeour's border collies. Based at Lonscale Farm in the beautiful Lake District of northern England, Derek breeds, trains and trials border collies.

Derek won the English National Sheepdog Trial held at Dovedale in Derbyshire on August 1st - 3rd 2008 with his dog Laddie 262753. To read more about Laddie Click here

As a 9-time member of the English National Team and The 2008 Winner with an excellent score of 209 Derek has successfully honed his training techniques and skills to the highest level. He eagerly shares his methods with others around the globe and has a reputation as a gifted and inspirational teacher.
